It is hard to believe it is already time for back to school! We enlisted stylist Brittny Meekins Ervin, of Carefully Curated Style, to help us send our kids back to school in style. Based in Charlotte, NC, Brittny scouted local shops to find some cool looks, great transitional pieces (we know it will still be warm!), and the perfect shoes. Kids can be comfortable and still look great.
I love the girls in their dresses and bright shoes by Native from Kixx Shoes (Charlotte, NC).

After a hiatus as an English teacher in Greenville, SC, Brittny Meekins Ervin tapped into her passion for wardrobe styling, which she honed thanks to her time as denim specialist/ stylist for Madewell in Oak Brook, IL. She has lived in New York City, Chicago, and Atlanta but now resides in Charlotte, NC, with her husband and two children.
Brittny has been able to parlay her wardrobe styling talents into becoming a bridal stylist. Her bridal styling has been featured in Charlotte Brides. She has also styled shoots for several local boutiques including The Petite Parade (Greenville, SC) and Copper Penny (Charlotte, NC). Her work was recently featured on social media outlets and brands Petit Peony (New England), Shop Katie Baby (Fort Mill, SC), Greenville Today (Greenville, SC), and ALOFT Hotels.
Brittny enjoys finding ways to match the unexpected, whether in her own wardrobe pieces or her clients'. Brittny also helps create, organize, and style shoots for brands in the Charlotte area - most recently Uptown Errands. Her stylist's eye can be found at @carefullycuratedbyEB, @carefully.curated.style, and www.carefullycurated.wix.com/home.
Special thank you to the local shops!
