If you experienced the Brandshop’s first major shopping event this past December in Charlotte, North Carolina, you will understand my enthusiasm for their upcoming FITSHOP arriving February 2. And it would only seem fitting for Charlotte’s leading fitness empire, Hilliard Studio Method, to host this fitness and wellness pop-up.
Similar to other Brandshop events, FITSHOP highlights emerging brands created by women, with a focus on wellness, activewear and athleisure brands. From sun up to sun down, the shop will be showcasing the collections of three activewear brands: No Ka' Oi out of Italy, Lanston Sport out of LA, Alexis Mera out of NY, and two jewelry brands the Brandshop founders love and have been following for some time, Hyla Dewitt out of Raleigh and HOLST+LEE out of New York. These althleisure brands are extremely promising (No Ka' Oi was just named one to watch by WWD & Marie Claire) and have never before been showcased here so Brandshop is thrilled at the opportunity to continue to expose Charlotte to some of the best emerging designers in the country.
In addition to the FITSHOP event, Liz Hilliard and Clary Hilliard Gray, the dynamic mother-daughter team at Hilliard Studio Method, will be holding classes over the course of the day and will culminate with a cocktail event from 6-9pm that evening. “Liz and Clary have been great partners to us and were featured speakers at our December Brandshop event, so we are thrilled at the opportunity to collaborate with them on this inaugural FITSHOP, at a time of year when so many Charlotteans (and people everywhere!) are thinking about fitness and wellness for 2016,” shares Brandshop’s co-founder Hillary Crittendon. Hope to see you at FITSHOP and cheers to a healthy 2016!
